Choir Director

Lizzie Stoxen is a Shasta County business owner providing the Northstate with performing arts and music instruction. She owns a private classroom where she instructs both local and international students in piano and voice performance. Lizzie also teaches choir and theatre classes at Cottonwood Creek Charter School and the Redding Performing Arts Center.

Lizzie has served as director, music director, costume designer, producer, and actor for many local theatre companies and arts organizations, including Axiom Repertory Theatre and the Cascade Theatre. She is currently the director of the Axiom Children’s Theatre and is extremely passionate about the benefits of performing arts education. 

Lizzie’s musical training includes classical voice, vocal jazz, piano, and mallet percussion. She formerly attended the Chicago College of Performing Arts and currently possesses an AA in music from Shasta College. Outside of work, she is happily married with two wonderful daughters.
